MeepleBee ("we", "our", or "the app") is a board game companion app developed by mrganser. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Information We Collect

Purchase Data

We use RevenueCat to process in-app purchases. When you make a purchase, RevenueCat collects:

• Purchase history: Transaction records and entitlement status.
• Anonymous device identifier: A randomly generated ID used to associate purchases with your device. This is not a personal identifier and cannot be used to identify you.

Data We Do NOT Collect

• Personal information (name, email, phone number)
• Location data
• Contacts, photos, or files
• Analytics or usage tracking data
• Advertising identifiers

How We Use Your Data

The data collected through RevenueCat is used solely for:

• App functionality: Verifying your purchases and unlocking Pro features.
• Fraud prevention: Validating purchase receipts and detecting fraudulent transactions.

We do not use your data for advertising, marketing, analytics, or profiling.

Data Storage

• On-device data: All gameplay data (scores, settings, timers, whiteboard drawings, etc.) is stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage and SQLite. This data never leaves your device.
• Purchase data: Stored on RevenueCat's servers to manage your purchase entitlements. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy for details.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to third parties. RevenueCat processes purchase data on our behalf as a data processor, not as an independent third party.

Data Security

All data transmitted between the app and RevenueCat's servers is encrypted in transit using HTTPS (TLS).

Children's Privacy

MeepleBee is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
